The Datamax RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) product line has been expanded to meet the needs of all current and potential RFID smart label users. RFID & RFID Ready printers are available for users who are interested in incorporating RFID printing capabilities now or at some point in the future. These printers feature all of the benefits and modularity of Datamax ‘Class’ printer design, with the addition of an RFID encoder module available from Datamax. The Datamax RFID printers currently support two different frequency modules, one HF and one UHF. The HF module operates at 13.56 MHz and supports the ISO 15693 High Frequency standard. The UHF module operates between 860 and 960 MHz depending on geographic region and supports the EPCglobal Class 0, 0+, 1, and Class 1 Gen 2 standards, along with ISO 18000-6 and Philips U Code.
